This week I’ve got an email from the NYC-based freelancer who is currently in Yakutsk and engaged in a long-term project documenting the effects of global warming on the people and environment of Siberia and the RFE. He wrote, “As you know, it is difficult to find people in the city who speak English, so I am looking to find someone who may be able to assist me as a guide or interpreter.”
I did help him. I found a student with ability to speak English : ) So… all my English-speaking local friends may help international visitors. However, I am not allowed to disclose their contact information. That’s private.
