There is accommodation in Oymyakon? How can I reach Verkhoyansk from Tomtor or Yakutsk?
The only way to reach Tomtor, Oymyakon and Verkhoyansk currently is by car, so-called long-distance taxi. In past years there was Polar Airlines‘ flight from Yakutsk to Ust-Nera, where it was also possible to get to the settlements by car from. Now there isn’t.
Accommodation travelers may arrange through a travel company. Check http://askyakutia.com/2008/06/most-reliable-travel-companies-in-yakutia/ . There is a sort of hotel, but I do not recommend to stay in.
