There are many taxi services in Yakutsk. It’s easier and cheaper to order a cab by phone than to stop at streets.
Currently, rates are following:
- The ride from the airport to downtown will cost 150-160 RUR (approx. 6.5 USD/4 EUR). Note: transfer rates are much higher, drivers charge flight waiting additionally.
- Within downtown a cab driver takes 100 RUR (approx. 4 USD/2.8 EUR)
- From suburb to suburb charge is about 180-240 RUR (7.5-10 USD/5-6.7 EUR). Depends on distance.
Remember, in winter period, when it is below -20C and less, rates are higher for 20-30 RUR.
I usually use taxi services with phone numbers 1529 and 732732.
In other cities rates are much less. Maybe, in Nerugri and Mirny cab drivers will charge a little bit less.
