New Year at the Pole of Cold

A good opportunity is offered to people who want to celebrate New Year in a very extraordinary way. The Pole of Cold is ready to accept brave ladies and gentlements unafraid of ultimately extreme cold. Have you ever celebrated the New Year, when it is around -50C (-58F) outside? Not yet. Just try.

What do you need to do?

1. Find 5 days for travelling on the route Yakutsk – Tomtor – Yakutsk.

2. Find warmest clothes, i.e. a parka, a hat, high boots, a lot of sweaters and scarfs.

3. Have a great wish to arrive in Moscow and embark the journey to Yakutia. The tour starts in Moscow.

NOTE: A helicopter will bring you from Yakutsk to the Pole of Cold and back. The flight takes 4 hours only – over Kolyma Highway and mountains.
