Biography
Born in Irkutsk on Jan. 27, 1957. Honored worker of national economy of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Graduated from Irkutsk National Economy Institute with a major in business administration (1978), Khabarovsk Political Sciences and Public Administration Institute (1990).
1978 – 1982. Worked as an engineer, then as a senior engineer in Allakh-Yunsky Geological Exploration Expedition.
1982 – 1988. Administrative work in Leninist Young Communist League of the Soviet Union. Arranged shock, hard-working Komsomol groups.
1991. Appointed Chairman of State Committee of Youth Affairs, then reappointed as Miniter of Youth and Tourism.
1993. Appointed First Deputy Minister of Social Protection, Labor, and Employment.
In Dec. 1993 and Dec. 1998 he was twice elected a deputy of House of Representative of the State Assembly (IL Tumen) of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and twice appointed Deputy Chairman.
Jan. 2003. Appointed Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Feb. 2007. Reappointed Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
