This road was built by the inmates of Gulag camps, most of them were buried along the way. That’s why it’s named the Road of Bones.
It was short on Jan. 21, 2010. The way back from Tomtor to Yakutsk by the Road of Bones took 17 hrs. The part between Kyubyume to Khandyga can be done for 4-5 hrs. Speed was ~60-100 km/hr.
This is my first edited video. Compiled from a few vids shot by my old mobile. The end was added with Bjorn Steinz’s piece. Pictures are mine.
