Received a message. A good one without any requests. Its author William Hathaway wrote to me on July 20th, 2012:
We are a group of 5 people in 2 4×4 vehicles driving from England to Magadan. We leave from England today!
Our trip is called ‘E.M.A.N. Expedition‘ (England-Magadan-Anchorage-New York)
I just thought I’d share our blog with you!
After following the blogs of ‘threeinatruck‘ and ‘twotomagadan‘, both of which mentioned you! I just wanted to inform you that we will be traveling through your region and it would be very nice to meet you on our route.

Your website has been very helpful for us to plan our trip so we would be very pleased if we could meet you in Yakutsk. in late August/Early September!

William knew how to attract my attention. I am always happy to follow expeditions going through Yakutsk, the capital of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)…

It was my turn to ask questions…
I asked them how they are going to cross Pacific Ocean and make it to Anchorage. William replied, “With the help of Yuri in Vladivostok we are shipping the trucks there. Via Vladivostok and Settle probably. We are flying home and then next year we will fly to alaska and then continue our journey in 2013. We have arranged storage for there year so the cars will be safe when we are back in England.”
Now I see. All ways go to Yuri. He is a fixer in Vladivostok I recommended previously.

..four Scotsmen’s MAD Expedition from Magadan (Pacific Ocean) to Scotland (Atlantic Ocean) on their own Landrover Defenders last year in September.
Once four regular Scots sitting in a pub suddently decided, Why not try the road trip from Pacific Ocean to Atlantic Ocean overland… and they did it.
