Bored of his work as a geography teacher in England, Rob eventually packed his panniers and took his bike for an adventure. He flew as far from England as possible. To Magadan. The territory of Yakutia occupies northeastern part of Asian continent, stretching 2,000 km from north to south, and 2,500 km from west to east. Its area of 3,102 thousand sq km makes 1/5 of Russia, or almost 2/3 of Western Europe’s area. More than 40 percent of Yakutia’s territory lies above the Arctic Circle. It embraces three time-zones.
