Interesting bolot! I really appreciate your attention towards this kind of everyday question that may affect us sooner or later...I would like to know more about this because I had some difficult experiences pissing outside in Sweden and i really think your ass may get frozen in a couple of seconds if you are not fast enough, moreover with the amount of clothes than i guess oymyakon inhabitants have to wear isn´t it really difficult when the moment arrives? thx!

Oi Bolot,

Just wanted to congratulate you for your excellent blog. Very good information about the lifestyle of a such different part of the planet. Confess that after reading your blog I am literally ashmed of using the term "cold" for the mild Rio de Janeiro's Autmunn we are currently experiencing now... (Since life in cold without heating is not as easy as you can imagine! :D)

I would like to know how people perceive the other parts of the planet, the warmer ones. Like Caribeean, Mediterranean. Do they think that "our" (from 'tropical countries') lifestyle is too weird, too different?

Also would like to know the question about the showers. :D Brazilians also think that cold weather generally means no showers (after my stay in Europe I realized it this wasn't true), but I really wonder how to motivate yourself to water yourself after facing -40C temperatures.

Obrigado pela atenção,
Fernando.

Think to give long-distance calls to residents of Oymyakon and Verkhoyansk this weekend or, maybe, early and redirect all your questions, dear blog readers, their residents and get answers.

Thanks for your providing questions and your interest in their lives!

Just now I noted two messages for approval. Approved and they showed up.

Usually, when you post a comment and it appears with the "awaiting moderation" phrase, this message can be seen by you as the author only in the current session. When you come back later and the comment is not yet here, it means the comment wasn't yet approved.

Yesterday I had a busy work day and I ran this blog voluntarily and when I have free time. Managed to check it today only. Sorry for some delay.

Certainly, I wish to help with answers.

I posted some questions here yesterday about life in the coldest places in Siberia. My post showed up, but it said "awaiting moderation." I looked again today, and now my post is gone.

Do you really not want people to ask questions, or was it simply a mistake that my post got deleted?
