An American Ian was asking me recently, “I am wondering how the lack of sunlight effects people in the long winter months. How many hours of daylight do you have, and it is dreadful? In summer, are the days extremely long? I am fascinated by your home.”

What kind of fishing are in the Yana River and it’s tributaries?
Frankly saying, I am not a big fan of fishing. So, I decided to call the Republic’s Biological Resources Department.

A Lost World in Siberia

A U.S. scientist wrote, “I found a newspaper reference to a 1929 Soviet expedition in search of a village in Yakutia which had not changed since the 1500s. Do you have any information about this expedition and what happened to it?”
